A distinguished legal professional in the Providence community

For years, people across Rhode Island have trusted attorney Garganese and the level of skill and knowledge he delivers to each client. Born in Providence in 1957, he graduated from Classical High School and went on to receive both his bachelor’s degree and his law degree here in New England. After receiving his Juris Doctor, he was appointed Rhode Island special assistant attorney general and eventually joined the local law firm of Rice Dolan & Kershaw, where he practiced for 10 years. In 1994, he started his own firm.

Over the course of his career, attorney Garganese has served as legal counsel to the Rhode Island general treasurer, assistant city solicitor for the city of Cranston and public administrator for the city of Providence. He was also an adjunct professor of law for nearly 20 years at the Community College of Rhode Island, where he lectured on constitutional law, criminal law, evidence and business law.
